A company is looking for a Data Governance Customer Engineer to assist enterprise customers in implementing Microsoft Purview across complex data environments.

Key Responsibilities

Guide customers in designing and deploying Microsoft Purview for unified data cataloging

Implement data discovery, classification, and mapping to enhance security and compliance

Lead workshops and planning sessions to develop long-term governance strategies

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in data governance, data architecture, or compliance roles

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview or similar data governance platforms

Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX

Familiarity with Azure Data Ecosystem, including Azure Data Factory and Power BI

Ability to translate data risk and quality issues into actionable changes
