Warehouse / Warranty Center Team Member $21.05 / HR

Menards Distribution Center is hiring immediately for Warehouse / Warranty Center Team Members. They are responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products into and out of the Distribution Center.

  • $2 / hr for 2nd and 3rd shift
  • $3 / hr on weekends

Now hiring FULL TIME and PART TIME for :

  • 1st shift (7AM until 3 : 30PM) Warehouse : $19.25 / HR Part-time or $21.05 / HR Full-Time
  • 2nd shift (4PM until 12 : 30AM) Warehouse : $21.25 / HR Part-time or $23.05 / HR (Shift Premium included)

    • Primary Responsibilities :

  • Follow Menards safety policies and procedures
  • Safely operate forklift or other machinery
  • Work cooperatively and productively with other Team Members under little supervision
  • Load trucks according to cubic weight, size, and characteristics
  • Provide outstanding service with attention to detail and completing tasks in a timely manner
  • Maintain condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
  • Perform safety check of powered industrial vehicle prior to operation
  • Locate product in warehouse using manifest or scanning system
  • Use hand-held scanning equipment to add or subtract product from inventory
  • Record quantity of product actually loaded onto manifest system
  • Ensure accuracy of load by verifying quantity with computer inquiry screens
  • Transport product from production / receiving areas using powered industrial vehicle
  • Additional duties assigned by Distribution Center Management

    • Physical Demands :

  • Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting.
  • Environment can include temperature fluctuations (hot / cold), noise, dust, and uneven walking surfaces.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; 70 lbs. occasionally.

    • Position Requirements :

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older
  • Warehouse experience preferred but not required
