Pay Information $450 to $650 per hour About The Position Gastroenterology Locums in Pennsylvania - Block Scheduling & Paid License We have an ongoing Gastroenterology locums assignment available in Pennsylvania. This role offers flexible block scheduling and excellent support staff for mixed IP / OP coverage. Highlights Block scheduling : Cover 14 shifts per month (5-7 day minimum blocks). We will pay for your PA license (with an active IMLC LOQ). Strong support : Assigned APP at each site plus 2-3 physicians on call (no overlap). Full travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided. Practice Setting Mix of inpatient and outpatient coverage. Level III trauma center. Coverage includes up to 2 hospitals during the week and 3 on weekends. Patient population : 95% Adult, 5% Peds. Schedule ASAP - Ongoing coverage needed. Assignments are 24-hour call. On-site hospital coverage from 7 : 30a-4 : 30p. Night call via pager from 4 : 30p-7 : 30a (30-minute response time). Procedures and Cases Standard IP / OP GI cases : rounding, consultations, and procedures. Required : Colonoscopy, EGD, PEGs, and Esophageal Varices / Stenting. Must be proficient in EUS and ERCP (heavy requirement on weekends). Average 10 procedures and 10 consults daily (combined sites). Requirements Board Certified or BE (within 5 years) in Gastroenterology. Active BLS certification. Open to IMLC Physicians. Minimum 24 months of experience. Credentialing Requirements Standard credentialing timeframe is 60 days. Temporary privileges are available to help you start sooner.
