Medical Billing Specialist

A company is looking for a Medical Billing Refunds Specialist responsible for managing refunds to insurance companies and patients. Key Responsibilities Receive and handle refund requests in a timely manner Post and record refunds accurately Communicate with attorneys, no fault insurance, worker's compensation, and the Veterans Administration as needed Required Qualifications Experience in cash posting or refunds Strong mathematical ability and understanding of Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Dependable and punctual with a collaborative team spirit Previous experience handling refunds is preferred
