What You’ll Do
Operate a dozer equipped with GPS and / or manual control to cut, fill, and grade terrain to specifications.
Follow design grades using stakes, plans, and / or digital models.
Safely clear and prepare land for roads, building pads, and underground utility installation.
Perform daily equipment inspections , greasing, fluid checks, and basic preventive maintenance.
Log equipment hours and maintenance in daily reports.
Coordinate with the foreman and grade crew to maintain production and accuracy.
Identify and report hazards or maintenance issues promptly.
Support teammates as needed to ensure safe, efficient site operations.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Skills
3+ years of heavy civil dozer operation experience preferred.
Proficiency with GPS / machine control systems and reading grade stakes.
Understanding of cut / fill balancing, slope work, and pad finishing.
Familiarity with jobsite safety practices, compaction requirements, and soil types.
Ability to perform construction math and read grade plans.
Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.
Team player who communicates clearly and works well with others.
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, and operate controls for extended periods.
Lift up to 40 lbs and climb in and out of equipment safely.
Distinguish between jobsite sounds such as alarms, voices, and machinery.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions, across various job sites and times of day.
Required PPE : hard hat, eye / ear protection, high-visibility apparel.

Hours Information
Monday – Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM.
Hours may extend depending on production needs.
Some Saturdays as needed (no Sundays).
Expect 40–45 hours per week; overtime possible.
