About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Android / Kotlin Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications used in commercial kitchen equipment. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Android Java , growing expertise in Kotlin , and the ability to work with embedded controllers.

You will collaborate closely with firmware engineers, full stack developers, and hardware teams to build responsive, reliable, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java
• Develop modern UI using Jetpack Compose and traditional Android UI frameworks
• Implement clean, scalable architectures such as MVVM, MVI , and modular design
• Integrate applications with backend services using RESTful APIs and JSON
• Implement device communication using MQTT and Modbus
• Work with Android Jetpack libraries including Navigation, ViewModel, LiveData, etc.
• Optimize application performance, memory usage, and responsiveness
• Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to testing strategies, CI / CD pipelines, and release processes
