Descripción del trabajoA commitment to making Guests feel welcome upon arrival and appreciated when they depart The people skills to calmly and professionally communicate with Guests, Team Members, and Vendor Partners The determination to become knowledgeable of all Metro Diner has to offer, including menu items, special events, and Metro Diner gear The skills to take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly Poise and grace to handle Guests’ questions and complaints appropriately The understanding to prepare and present Guests their check, accept payment, and process credit card or accept cash as applicable Experience as a Server in a fast-paced work environment Experience in diffusing stressful situations through a calm, thoughtful demeanor Ability to work as part of a team and help facilitate the smooth running of the diner as directed by the General Manager or supervisor A passion for working alongside other Team Members to provide excellent service while growing the company financially
