Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers the opportunity to support students in a K-12 educational setting as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Wasilla, AK. The role involves working collaboratively with speech-language pathologists to assist in delivering speech and language services to students, helping to improve their munication skills in a supportive and structured school environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized therapy plans for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records in pliance with program standards.
  • Prepare materials and activities that support speech therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to integrate speech therapy goals into classroom activities.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and team meetings as required.

Qualifications :

  • pletion of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent training.
  • Valid certification or licensure as an SLPA as required by state guidelines.
  • Experience working with children in a school or clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills to effectively support students and collaborate with staff.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain confidentiality.
