ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril’s Manufacturing Team is seeking a Head of Industrial Engineering to join our team. The Manufacturing Team is responsible for rapidly iterating and building cutting-edge defense hardware, including static equipment, moving ground equipment, sensors, undersea, and flight vehicles, and scaling these products in our new 5M sq ft manufacturing facility, Arsenal-1.

ABOUT THE JOB

As the Head of Industrial Engineering, you will have responsibility for leading the team and strategy for scoping, standing up, and optimizing Anduril’s manufacturing operations for best-in-class quality, reliability, speed, and asset utilization, all while meeting critical customer deployment and internal development timelines. The team will be instrumental in taking a data-driven approach to designing factories, production lines, scaling plans, automation, and associated manufacturing processes to meet these objectives. You will focus on building business processes and digital tools to enable advanced modeling and analysis of factories and production lines. Executing on this responsibility will entail active collaboration with other Anduril teams, including but not limited to Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Business Operations.

The right person for this role can demonstrate holistic ownership on solving both strategic manufacturing initiatives and operational challenges with creative solutions in a fast-paced, resource-limited environment. This person will be flexible to change and ambiguity in their working environment, while working to ensure products are built and shipped on-time under stringent quality standards. • Develop and implement a long-term industrialization strategy aligned with company goals.
• Drive innovation in manufacturing processes, automation, and technology adoption to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Drive innovation in manufacturing processes and digital tools, enabling data-driven modeling and analysis of production systems.
• Set key guiding objectives for Anduril Manufacturing improvement aligned with business line and product line roadmaps, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that result in cost reduction, quality enhancement, and throughput maximization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

US Salary Range

$180,000 — $250,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and / or training, critical skills, and / or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
