Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine NV

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner specializing in General Medicine across Nevada. As a key provider, you will perform non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments, contributing directly to our nation's Veterans' well-being. Required Skills:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Nevada
• Proven experience in general medicine or related fields
• Strong interview and assessment skills
• Ability to perform physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently within specified clinics and schedules

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience with Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams
• Knowledge of veterans’ health assessments
• Certification in specific medical specialties related to primary care
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in general medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic settings
• Prior experience working with government or veterans' health programs is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Own Office Location in Nevada (Pahrump, Gardnerville/Minden, Ely)
• Ability to work on a PRN basis, including half-day (4-hour) and full-day (8-hour) shifts
• Travel within specified radius for assigned locations
• Participation in required credentialing and onboarding processes
• No need for prescribing authority or treatment responsibilities
• Availability for ongoing follow-up administrative tasks such as report submissions and addendums

Hourly Pay Rate: $600 for half-day shifts; $1200 for full-day shifts
