Product Liability Litigation Of Counsel (Medical / Science Background) – Am Law 50 Firm

About the Position :

Our client, a preeminent global law firm, is actively seeking a litigator to join as Of Counsel in its large and established Chicago office. This firm has one of the most robust and sophisticated teams of disputes lawyers globally, including a local presence in over 40 countries.

Responsibilities :

  • Draft and review discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda
  • Assist with fact development and depositions
  • Develop case strategy

    • Required Qualifications :

  • 8+ years of product liability and / or complex commercial litigation experience, particularly involving pharmaceutical / medical devices
  • Strong experience writing briefs, including Rule 702 of the Federal Rules of Evidence and Daubert issues
  • Large law firm experience (Am Law 100 background preferred)
  • Excellent academic credentials and writing skills

    • Location : Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

    Compensation :

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is $400,000 – $500,000.
