Descripción del trabajoU.S. Citizenship Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related fields such as Accounting or Mathematics, or 6 years of equivalent knowledge, skill, and workplace experience Minimum five (5) years of experience with IMS databases Minimum five (5) years of experience with COBOL programming language Minimum five (5) years of experience with TSO (Time Sharing Option) utility Minimum five (5) years of experience with PANVALET (revision control and source code management system) utilities Minimum five (5) years of experience with Microsoft Office Minimum five (5) years of experience with FTP (File Transfer Protocol) and transferring data from IMS files into EXCEL spreadsheets. Minimum five (5) years of experience with analysis and system design

Responsibilities :
The Mainframe Developer will support Barrow Wise's State of Illinois project and perform the following duties :
- Write, test, and debug code
- Create databases and manage data
- Collaborate with team members on projects
- Update and maintain existing programs
- Work with other departments to gather requirements and define project scope
- Ensure software applications meet all performance and security standards
- Research new technologies and software development trends
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting
- Writing technical documentation
- Demonstrate strong expertise in Mainframe IMS (Information Management Systems) and MVS (Multiple Virtual Storage)
- Perform maintenance and project tasks for the Department staff.
- Perform duties in Springfield, IL.
