Badge Access Technician

Job Title

Creates, manages and prints badges. Utilizes databases to verify badge status. Monitors security access levels to ensure a safe environment.

Responsibilities :

• Creates and prints badges. Evaluates user access to secured doors. Maintains Card Access Security badge templates.
• Operates digital photography and encoding equipment.
• Provides instructions for use of badges on card readers. Compiles data for monthly statistical information. Cross-trains other staff.
• Resolves problems with door access and timekeeping systems.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
