12-month base period with four optional 12-month extensions12-hour shifts : 0730–2000 or 1930–0800Possible 10-hour shifts and additional coverage as needed24 / 7 inpatient coverage including staff leave coveragePosition Summary :
Provide full-scope inpatient nursing care to maintain consistent patient coverage and reduce service disruptions. Deliver direct care, manage patient needs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a high-acuity setting.
Key Duties :
Perform patient assessments, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomesAdminister medications, treatments, oxygen, and blood productsOperate and monitor therapeutic devices and medical equipmentDocument care, interventions, and patient status in the EHRRespond to emergencies and participate in rapid response situationsSupport daily living needs and provide patient educationConduct quality checks and collect lab specimensAssign tasks to ancillary staff and support team coordinationQualifications :
Active, unrestricted RN license (any U.S. state or territory)Minimum 2 years RN experience, including 2 years med-surgGraduate of an accredited nursing programBLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (all required)CGFNS certification for foreign-educated nursesPreferred Experience :
Prior IHS or tribal healthcare experienceMed-surg experience in remote or tribal settingsProficiency with electronic medical recordsTo Apply :
