Primoris Heavy Civil is looking for skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to join our growing team in heavy highway construction for our Abilene, TX location. Project start date : February 2026. Job Description

Heavy equipment operators will need to have experience operating equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, motor graders, backhoes, and compactors in a safe and efficient manner.

General Requirements

• Operators perform equipment inspections and may be required to perform daily maintenance of equipment (such as greasing / lubing).
• Previous operator of construction equipment, or other related industrial experience preferred.
• Experience in a labor-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently in a team and safety focused environment.
• Mechanical inclination is an asset.
