Catering Assistant
Position Summary
The Catering Assistant serves a variety of catered functions or works in the physician’s lounge. This position also serves as a Dietary Aide.

Experience
1 Year Foodservice - Preferred

Core Job Functions
- Properly stores equipment and supplies and requests replacement supplies to maintain adequate stock. Maintains and cleans equipment according to manufacturer's guidelines. Reports equipment in need of repair to engineering and / or manager.
- Safe food handling procedures are used in the preparation, service, and storage of food.
- Reviews daily menus. Sets up and prepares menu items as needed, using appropriate serving pieces and utensils. Communicates needs and requests or issues to managers as appropriate.
- Stocks area with snacks and beverages for after hours self-service. Stocks frozen / prepared meals for evenings and weekends.
- Stocks and prepares work station prior to meal service. Accurately assembles meal tray using standard procedures and portions. Cleans and restocks work station following meal service.
