Descripción del trabajo3+ years of C&I and CRE loan underwriting experience Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or equivalent training and experience(preferred) Knowledge of commercial credit products, concepts, processes, and functions Knowledge of business management and planning tools, including financial statements and ratios, budgets, inventory and accounts receivable turnover Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements, business reports and legal documents Knowledge of applicable federal / state banking regulations Effective math skills, including ratios, percentages, interest and amortization Good judgment and problem solving skills
Actively seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Underwriter to :
- Evaluate commercial credit requests.
- Prepare and recommend credit authorizations.
- Analyze and interpret profitability, cash flow, credit reports and financial ratios to determine if they meet guidelines.
- Evaluate and verify collateral.
- Analyze borrower's competitive and economic sensitivities, general business conditions and management.
- Determine borrower credit worthiness / risk factors, and recommend risk mitigation measures.
- Prepare credit authorization memorandum (CAM) and recommend credit approval. Includes financial review report and opinion of credit risk.
- Prepare problem loan report and comment on current financial status of borrower.
- Assist account officers with management of loan portfolios.
