Job Description
Role Overview As we are bidding to support the National Park Service, Metrics is seeking experienced Contract Specialists . This position will provide full lifecycle acquisition support for large-scale federal construction and architect-engineer (A / E) contracts . Work will be performed remotely but directly supports a high-visibility federal acquisition office.
Responsibilities
- Conduct acquisition planning and market research; prepare pre-solicitation documentation.
- Draft solicitations, RFQs / RFPs, amendments, and track responses.
- Support technical evaluation panels and source selection activities.
- Perform cost / price analysis, document tradeoffs, and prepare negotiation memoranda.
- Draft award documentation and route for Contracting Officer signature.
- Provide post-award administration support (invoices, payroll compliance, DOL wage checks, file maintenance).
- Process modifications, closeouts, and interagency agreements.
- Prepare official contract documentation in FPDS, PRISM, and FBMS systems.
- Maintain compliance with FAR, DIAR, and internal NPS policies at all times.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (any field) with at least 24 semester hours in business disciplines (accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization / management).Minimum 5 years Federal Government contracting experience.Minimum 5 years construction contracting experience.Minimum 3 years architect-engineer (A / E) contracting experience.Demonstrated knowledge of FAR / DIAR and federal acquisition lifecycle.Strong writing and documentation skills.Eligible to obtain HSPD-12 PIV and any required DOI clearances.Preferred
DAWIA / FAC-C certification or equivalent training.Prior experience with Department of the Interior or NPS systems (FPDS, PRISM, FBMS).Experience supporting large-scale, multi-million-dollar construction or design projects.Metrics LLC is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
