  • Intealth is seeking a GME / Immigration Advisor to join our Exchange Visitor (J-1 Visa) Sponsorship Program (EVSP). As part of a collaborative and mission-driven team, you'll support foreign national physicians pursuing U.S. graduate medical education (GME) and help ensure compliance with U.S. government regulations while strengthening partnerships with hospitals across the country.

    About the Role

    Are you ready for a career that combines immigration, international relations, and public health? In this role, you'll advise physicians from around the world, evaluate J-1 visa applications, and provide guidance to teaching hospitals and sponsored participants.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate J-1 visa sponsorship applications to ensure compliance with U.S. regulations.
  • Advise sponsored physicians and teaching hospitals on maintaining J-1 status.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for immigration and health, safety, and welfare concerns.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to hospital staff on J-1 compliance requirements.
  • Act as an Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) in SEVIS, maintaining records for exchange visitors.
  • Stay informed on national GME requirements and immigration policies, serving as a resource internally and externally.
  • About You

    You're a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, globally focused environment. You bring cultural sensitivity, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to quality and service.

    Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 4 years of case management experience (or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years of experience in immigration, higher education, graduate medical education or other relevant field.
  • Experience managing high-volume applications or caseloads in a regulated environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • EVSP is the sole sponsor of J-1 physicians in the U.S., working with the U.S. Department of State and supporting over 16,000 physicians from 150+ countries who provide patient care at more than 780 hospitals nationwide.
