Central Processing Tech I

Reports to the CPD Manager. This position is responsible for demonstrating strong competence in decontamination, assembly, sterilization, sterile storage, and case cart assembly, and also activities that include equipment distribution and cleaning processes. Able to operate all equipment associated with the above.

This position is under the direct supervision of the CPD Manager. It may receive instruction from the CPD coordinator or lead staff. This position has contact and daily working relationship with departmental staff as well as other staff within the hospital. It may have occasional contact with outside institutions. No managerial or supervisory responsibility.
