Dental Program Office Manager

GNR Public Health is seeking a dedicated Dental Program Office Manager to become an essential part of our community-focused dental team. In this role, you'll go beyond routine tasks. You'll help create a welcoming, efficient, and compassionate environment for every dental patient who walks through our doors. This position will oversee dental services in our three Gwinnett Dental clinics. As the Dental Program Office Manager, you'll balance both clinical and administrative responsibilities, including :

  • Managing overall dental program operations
  • Supervising clinical and support dental program staff
  • Managing front- and back-office duties such as scheduling; maintaining accurate medical records; assisting with billing and insurance documentation; and assisting with patient intake and fee collection.
  • Assisting with Dental Assistant duties including greeting and preparing patients for their visit; appointment management; recording vital signs and collecting medical histories / patient info; setting up / breaking down rooms; supporting clinicians during examinations and procedures; ensuring exam rooms and clinical areas are clean, organized, and ready for use including processing equipment; and other duties to support program operations.

Minimum : Bachelor's degree in health care services or related field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of professional managerial or supervisory experience in health care services. Note : Some positions may require certification and / or licensure. Preferred : At least 3 years working in a dental clinic setting. At least 3 years managing staff including scheduling and performance management. Proficient with computer utilization including data entry. At least 1 year experience with visit coding insurance processing. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Experience working in Public Health. Experience and / or certification in Dental Assisting. Experience as a Practice Manager. Experience working in a pediatric dental setting.
