Description
The Behavior Analyst provides services to referred Hope support recipients through their work in the application of behavioral analysis and Positive Behavioral Supports programs. This position ensures the team develops and implements appropriate individualized formal and informal behavioral support strategies for each referred support recipient. The Behavior Analyst implements behavioral intervention and support processes and interaction guidelines, and provides ongoing training for the team and works with each support recipient on an as needed basis. This position provides prescribed Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Autism Services to referred Hope support recipients. This includes the assessment, design and implementation of ABA treatment plans, conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Health Technicians (BHTs) in the implementation of ABA services. This position also assists in the creation and development of Agency-wide curriculum and specific behavioral programs. Requirements
Education and Experience
1. Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education or a related field required. Applied Behavioral Analysis training required. Positive Behavior Support knowledge is preferred.
2. Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
3. State of Alaska Behavior Analyst License required, or the ability to become licensed within six months required.
