Mental Health Clinical Trainee

A Mental Health Clinical Trainee works under the direction of the Treatment Director and under the clinical supervision of the Mental Health Clinical Supervisor to develop clinical skills and deliver clinical services to our clients-including providing diagnostic assessments and individual and group psychotherapy. Our clinical trainees collaborate closely with clients in our intensive rehabilitation treatment services (IRTS) program, offering them structure, guidance, and access to resources.

• EDUCATION : | Hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in the behavioral sciences, or related fields (e.g. psychology, social work etc.), and is on a track for an independent licensure in the State of Minnesota (LICSW, LP, LMFT, LPCC) Is currently enrolled in an accredited graduate level program in the behavioral sciences, or related fields
• EXPERIENCE : | Qualified individuals must have a minimum of 1,500 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of clinical services to adults, adolescents and / or children with : Mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental disorders or traumatic brain injuries. Two years of full-time experience working with people with serious and persistent mental illness and / or substance use disorders
