Pay : $25 / hr - $28 / hr

Responsibilities

Job Summary

This role will require daily monitoring of the mining operation(s) some data entry and in field project execution. The intern in this position will be expected to take office discussions and enact them in the field. EH&S Engineering and operations will all be included in this internship opportunity. Community outreach as well as helping organize community related projects. Youll work alongside experienced engineers technicians and site supervisors to support daily operations contribute to ongoing projects and gain exposure to real-world mining challenges.

Primary Duties

• Assisting the Mining operation with day to day projects
• Active learning of the operations to be discussed weekly with supervisor(s)
• Data entry and analysis for operational improvements

Work Conditions : Manufacturing facility. Plant process areas contain ladders walkways tight places confined spaces uneven terrain and stairs both inside and outside. Quarry area is wooded and has uneven terrain

Work Hours : As agreed upon based on intern availability and business needs.

Safety Training : A new employee hired to perform the duties of this position is required to be provided New Employee Training by a qualified individual or through the online training system. Additionally an employee must be provided further training if a job duty / task has changes that will affect the health and safety aspects of that employees position.

Additional refresher safety training will be required as management deems appropriate or as dictated by government regulations.
