Spartan Shield Solutions is a rapidly growing veteran-owned Fractional CFO and Outsourced Accounting firm based in Arlington, VA. We serve organizations across all industries, with a focus on government contractors. Spartan Shield works closely with its clients to improve operations, productivity and organization while meeting compliance requirements. We do this through increasing access to up-to-date financial information, reducing inefficiencies and freeing senior management to focus more on revenue generating activities.

Spartan Shield is seeking a knowledgeable, driven individual to help the continued success of the company and the clients we support in a Pricing Lead capacity. The Pricing Lead will develop, implement, and manage pricing strategies for government contracts. This role involves analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and internal cost structures to optimize pricing decisions with regards to government contracting. This will be a 1099, hourly position on an as-needed basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide superior customer service
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies based on market research, competitive analysis, and internal cost data
  • Identify opportunities for pricing optimization to maximize revenue and margin
  • Monitor and evaluate pricing performance, recommending adjustments as necessary
  • Conduct regular market analysis to understand pricing trends, competitive dynamics, and customer behavior
  • Use data-driven insights to inform pricing decisions and strategies
  • Oversee the implementation of pricing changes, including system updates and communication with relevant individuals
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure pricing strategies support overall business objectives
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in pricing

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor's or above in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 8+ years of proven experience in pricing, finance, or a related analytical role required
  • 5+ years experience with pricing models and strategies in Government Contracting required
  • Experience within accounting and finance highly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in other standard office applications
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and reasoning skills
  • Able to prioritize and meet multiple competing deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following software programs : QuickBooks Online, Unanet, Deltek GCS, Deltek Costpoint, Microsoft Dynamics, Jamis, QuickBooks Desktop
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future
