Responsibilities Work in a large hospital operating room Weekend night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts from 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required Must have experience as a charge nurse Ortho, EENT, and vascular case experience is a plus Epic EMR experience preferred but not required; onsite training available Responsible for providing and coordinating safe, patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Responsible for clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel Holiday coverage may be required as scheduled Must wait one year after permanent employment at the facility to be eligible for travel consideration No local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia Testing is not required for OR RNs RTO (time off) requests must follow facility guidelines First-day orientation provided with competency and protocol training Requirements Active NM or compact RN license required Minimum two years of recent large OR RN experience Previous charge and scrub experience required Must have successfully completed at least one previous 13-week travel assignment Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required Current BLS certification required; must be from AHA, American Health and Safety, or Red Cross ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred Must be a team player, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-637661.
