MedHQ Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Lead for a travel nursing job in Bronx, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care
  • Discipline : RN

  • Duration : 12 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift : 12 hours, days
  • Employment Type : Travel

Key Requirements :

  • Position : Nurse Preceptor
  • Minimum 5 years of PICU experience
  • May precept up to 2 nurses at a time
  • During orientation, RNs will be assigned to this Preceptor
  • Responsibilities include :

    • Teaching clinical concepts to new RNs

  • Providing guidance and oversight to prevent errors on the floor
  • Reporting directly to the onsite Nurse Educator
