Position : Shopper Insights and Retail Analyst (Remote / ET)

job summary :

The Shopper Insights & Retail Analytics will be :

  • creating reports based on the data and communicate overall results
  • overseeing the point-of-sale (POS) data transmission from retailers
  • a 'specialist' in Consumer Products
  • Able to articulate what was purchased and where.
  • POS data management ie Data Coordinator responsibilities
  • Liaise with Retailers
  • ensure that POS data is received correctly and timely loaded in our systems.
  • Capturing new product codes
  • EAN's, self-sourcing new barcodes through retailer catalogues, from the products directly, etc.
  • Managing the weekly data mapping process from multiple sources of data
  • Maintaining a high level of data accuracy through data cleansing.
  • Becoming the expert on the Nvidia Control Panel (NVCP) hierarchy and where to map EAN barcodes.
  • Uploading retailer sales files onto the server.
  • Helping to shape and provide a data service ie : first contact for data requests.
  • Preparing various reporting of NVCP activity
  • Providing consolidation of country specific retail information.
  • Assisting the Director in the valuation of the market (results, trends, etc.)
  • providing insights based on different sources of market data.
