Overview

Finexio is hiring a Client Operations Sr. Manager to manage and enhance the day-to-day performance of our Operations. This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and drives operational execution, performance improvement, workflow standardization, and client satisfaction. Requires deep experience in the payments industry, especially in AP / AR fintech or B2B payments.

Base pay range

$110,000.00 / yr - $140,000.00 / yr

Role Summary

The Client Operations Sr. Manager will oversee delivery, process optimization, and scalability of operational management functions. This role leads cross-functional client operations teams with a focus on process discipline, performance tracking, stakeholder communication, and reporting / analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Client Operations : Manage daily client operations to ensure timely and accurate service delivery; define and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs); handle high-priority client escalations and support complex issue resolution with internal teams; use Salesforce, Looker, and Power BI to track and report performance metrics and drive data-informed improvements
  • Onboarding & Implementation : Manage a team responsible for seamless onboarding of new clients and implementation of Finexio's payment solutions; develop repeatable, scalable onboarding workflows to reduce time-to-value; collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Product, and Engineering to optimize timelines and client outcomes
  • Fraud Prevention & Compliance : Manage Fraud Prevention processes and enhance reporting; oversee fraud prevention and compliance workflows to ensure efficiencies and security; liaise between Operations, Fraud Prevention, and external client communications

Requirements

  • Industry & Functional Background : Minimum 5 years of management experience in payments, treasury, AP / AR fintech, or payment processing operations; deep understanding of B2B payments and money movement workflows (e.g., ACH, card, virtual card, check); prior experience at a B2B payments fintech or direct competitor preferred; experience optimizing operational workflows through SOP creation, automation, and standardization; experience overseeing client onboarding and implementation programs in SaaS or platform environments; familiarity with fund reconciliation, treasury management, and financial risk mitigation
  • Leadership & Process Optimization : Prior experience managing operational teams with direct reports or functional leadership; strategic problem solver who can identify bottlenecks, define solutions, and drive implementation with minimal oversight; ability to develop KPIs, analyze operational data, and report progress and gaps to leadership; ability to manage competing priorities in fast-changing environments
  • Communication & Collaboration : Strong communicator to coordinate cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and treasury teams; able to represent operational functions clearly with internal stakeholders and clients; high attention to detail in regulated environments
  • Tools & Systems : Salesforce (preferred); payment reconciliation tools; data analytics and reporting platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
