Overview

Position Title : Security Analyst.

Department : St. Olaf College LITS and Carleton College ITS.

Classification : Exempt.

FTE : 1.0.

Work Schedule : The standard 40-hour work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm, split evenly between the campuses, though the amount of time spent at each institution in a given period may vary. Flexible work arrangements can be proposed and are subject to approval by HR and relevant supervisors; occasional evening or weekend work as needed. Travel up to 5% of the work schedule, which includes local (Twin Cities metro area), regional, and national.

Work Location : On Campus.

Salary Range : $62,000-$68,000.

Essential Job Duties

• Security Alert and Event Management.

Administer and maintain log aggregation and event correlation platforms (Splunk and supporting systems).

Administer and maintain vulnerability management platform.

Administer desktop security platforms, including Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Managed Detection and Response (MDR), and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) infrastructure. Create and edit EDR, MDR, and DLP policies.

Administer cybersecurity training and phishing simulation platforms.

Maintain expertise through ongoing professional development, certification, and training.
