Job Title : Phlebotomist

Location : 82-68 164th Street, Queens Hospital, Jamaica, NY 11432

Duration : 3+ months contract (with a possibility for an extension. But, no guarantees)

Education : High School Diploma / GED Phlebotomy Program.

Shift Details : 5 : 00 AM - 1 : 00 PM

Job Description :

• Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood specimens from patients.
• Confirm patient identity and match specimens with proper labeling to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and properly dispose of biohazardous materials.
• Provide clear communication to patients regarding the blood collection process to reduce anxiety.
• Document patient information and specimen details accurately in medical records.
