As an Access Control Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor entrances and exits, manage badge access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and employees. This position requires driving, so a valid driver's license is necessary.

Pay Rate : $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeWed05 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PMThur09 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Help to deter unauthorized access by monitoring entry and exit points at the location.
  • Verify credentials and / or identification of individuals entering the premises.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors with directions and information related to site access policies.
  • Follow site-specific procedures for access control, including logging visitor and vehicle information as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe for irregularities or security-related concerns.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members regarding access control policies and procedures.
  • Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
