Strong background in commercial transactions, licensing, and collaborations within the life sciences industry. Corporate or patent experience and / or a technical degree is a plus. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Salary Range : $260,000 - $390,000 (Final offer dependent on experience and location). Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits . Locations : Boston, Palo Alto, San Diego
Practice Area : Life Sciences Partnering
Direct Counsel is seeking a Life Sciences Partnering & Licensing Attorney to join a highly regarded firm with a nationally recognized Life Sciences Corporate Partnering & Licensing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate with experience in strategic commercial transactions within the life sciences sector.
Key Responsibilities :
- Structure, negotiate, and draft strategic commercial transaction agreements , including licenses, collaboration agreements, and other commercial contracts.
- Advise life sciences clients on complex partnering and licensing transactions in both domestic and international markets.
- Work closely with corporate, regulatory, and intellectual property teams to support clients in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries.
