Interventional Cardiologist - near Myrtle Beach, SC

Conway Medical Center is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join its growing team to meet the increasing demand for cardiovascular services in the community. The role will focus on interventional and general cardiology care, supported by advanced diagnostic , two cath labs and imaging technology. The physician will work closely with a collaborative team of cardiologists, nurse practitioners, and a strong primary care referral base to provide comprehensive cardiac care.

POSITION OVERVIEW :

• Primarily outpatient clinical role - with inpatient responsibilities.
• Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs : 8am-5pm / Friday 8am-12pm)
• Protected administrative time (4.5 days clinic time with .5-day admin time per week)
• 36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours
• Call Schedule : 1 : 4 Stemi call (1 : 3 with CMC, 1 weekend per month covered by MUSC IC physicians; 1 : 6 rotation for general cardiology call.)

The Cardiac Care clinic works closely with Interventional Cardiac Care,  sharing a collaborative space. There are potential cross-referrals between interventional radiology (IR), cardiac care, and Cardiac Care procedures, particularly in the Cath lab.
