The Senior Manager of Dispatch is responsible for the supervision, scheduling, and training of the Frontier Airlines Aircraft Dispatchers and Dispatch Shift Manager.

Essential Functions :

• Responsible for Dispatcher workflow to ensure all flights are checked, monitored, analyzed for weather conditions over regular and alternate routes.
• Ensure Dispatchers comply with all FAA and Company regulations and procedures which include Dispatcher coverage of all individual flight planning, releases, aircraft routing, flight monitoring, weather and operation advisory service duties.
• Ensure Dispatchers provide all Pilots in Command with available information of meteorological conditions including adverse weather phenomena, such as clear air turbulence, thunderstorms, low-level wind shear, and irregularities of facilities and services, which may affect the safety of the flight.
• Recruit, train, and motivate Dispatchers to ensure department operations operate at maximum efficiency.
• Maintain dispatcher training records to ensure compliance with FAR's.
• Maintains system for generating dispatch release including flight plan, weather briefing and runway analysis.
• Maintains all related databases including company routes (ATC coordination) and alternate airports.
• Administer TWU Labor Agreement for Dispatchers including first level grievances.
• Recruit, train, and motivate Load Planners to ensure department operations operate at maximum efficiency.
• Maintain load planner training records to ensure compliance with FAR's.
• Develop and maintain departmental manuals, to include the Dispatch Operations Manual, Dispatch Training Manual, and Enhanced Weather Information Systems Manual.
• Develop and coordinate all initial and recurrent training programs for Dispatchers in conjunction with Flight Operations Training.
• Administer SMS in the Dispatch department.
• Perform hazard identification and safety risk assessment, including change management.
• Ensure the effectiveness of safety risk controls.
• Promote safety by ensuring all department personnel are properly trained and communicated SMS awareness, safety critical information, why safety actions are taken, and why safety procedures are introduced or changed.
• Advise upper management on the performance of the SMS and any need for improvement.
• May accept Blue (minor) risk determinations as defined in Frontier's Company Risk Matrix.

Salary Range : $110,114 - $146,157
