• The cli ent is seeking a General Manager 5 - Food for MedStar Georgetown University Hospital located in Washington, DC . MedStar Georgetown is one of the D.C. area's oldest academic teaching hospitals.
• We are looking for an experienced leader with a passion for innovation, training, process improvement, and team building. This position will oversee all food services for the 609 licensed hospital, including, retail, patient, and catering services.
• The client offers a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. Employees at our healthcare sites play a crucial role in enhancing patient experience and well-being.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account / unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day-to-day operations.

1. Do you have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.

2. Do you have A work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively.

3. Do you have General Manager Food & Nutrition leadership experience in a healthcare environment.

4. Do you have Experience managing in a union environment.

5. Are you Proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

6. Do you have 5 years of management and functional experience.

7. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
