We are seeking a Site Lead / Business Development Manager to lead our Dayton, Ohio location and support the growth of new programs aligned with SciTecs strategic initiatives. This on-site role reports to the Director of the Missile Defense Solutions Portfolio and involves a combination of site leadership, business development, program development, and personnel management responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader capable of driving new business while supporting a high-performing technical team in a fast-paced environment. / ph3Key Responsibilities / h3pBusiness Development Capture / pulliIdentify, capture, and maintain opportunity pipelines and roadmaps that align with corporate strategy through customer and industry engagement / liliLead assigned opportunities through SciTecs gated milestone process, culminating in compliant and compelling proposal submissions / liliIdentify and execute business development efforts where SciTec performs as a subcontractor to prime contractors / liliDevelop teaming strategies, teaming agreements, and subcontract RFPs / li / ulpProposal Leadership / pulliServe as Proposal Manager for assigned efforts, leading development of solution content including win themes, features / benefits, proof points, and graphics / liliCoordinate with technical staff and Business Operations teams (Contracts, Finance, IT, Security) to deliver high-quality proposals / liliDevelop and maintain proposal schedules and budgets; support parallel proposal activities as needed / liliAnalyze Government RFPs to shape proposal strategy and execution plans / liliWrite white papers, proposal abstracts, and other customer-facing technical content / li / ulpProgram Customer Engagement / pulliBrief corporate leadership on new business pipeline status and capture progress / liliSupport pre-award activities, including customer QA, staffing planning, and teammate coordination / liliSupport new program start-up activities including kickoff meetings, personnel onboarding, and collaborative IT environment setup / liliSupport marketing and business research; articulate SciTec capabilities to customers and partners / li / ulpSite Leadership Employee Development / pulliDirectly supervise, mentor, and grow the Dayton sites staff / liliAlign employee career progression with interests, skill sets, and project needs / liliPromote a positive workplace culture by organizing morale events and team activities / liliServe as facility coordinator, overseeing work orders, office consumables, and site logistics / li / ulpAdditional Duties / pulliRepresent SciTec at customer meetings, tradeshows, and industry events / liliPerform additional tasks as needed to support the Dayton site and corporate goals / li / ulh3Requirements / h3ulliBachelors degree in physics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline / lili12+ years of U.S. Government or aerospace industry experience in technical or managerial roles / lili10+ years of experience contributing to or leading U.S. Government technical proposals / liliDemonstrated success analyzing RFPs and leading proposal development activities / liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical and managerial solutions / liliStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive relationships with customers, partners, and internal leadership / liliStrong team-building, conflict-resolution, and time-management capabilities / liliActive DoD SECRET clearance or higher / liliHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality / liliU.S. Citizenship required / li / ulh3Preferred Requirements / h3ulliExpertise in one or more mission areas : / liulliBattle Management Command and Control (BMC2) / liliIntegrated Air and Missile Defense / liliTCPED / liliMission Management / li / ulliExperience leading technical teams to develop solutions for DoD / IC customers / liliDirect experience working with MDA, USSF, USAF, SDA, COCOMs, or the Intelligence Community / liliDemonstrated business development success within the U.S. Government contracting ecosystem / liliActive DoD TS / SCI clearance / li / ulpResumes, cover letters, and applications which are generated by AI will not be considered for employment.
