Radiologic Technologist Job Details

Location : Orangeburg, SC 29118 (South Carolina healthcare jobs)

Facility : Acute Care Hospital, Level III Trauma Center

Assignment Type : Travel Radiology Job

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 9, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (8 : 30 AM – 7 : 00 PM), Monday–Thursday

Hours per Week : 40

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1470–$1580

On-call : Required, including weekend rotation

Float : Coverage in OR, Ortho, Fluoro, Inpatient, Outpatient, and ER

Patient Population : Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Radiology Job Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)

Current ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R), BLS, and CPR certifications required

Experience in Fluoroscopy and Operating Room (OR) radiology required

Radiation badge (provided by agency)

Ability to float to multiple radiology units as needed

Epic and Cerner EHR charting experience preferred

First-time travel healthcare professionals welcome

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with technical expertise and initiative

Apply ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis in adult and pediatric radiology settings

Provide clinical support in OR, Ortho, Fluoroscopy, Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Room (ER)

Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends

Operate radiology equipment including Phillips and Toshiba systems

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety, and regulatory standards
