Position Title: SharePoint Administrator
Location: Tysons Corner, VA
Clearance: Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance. Due to the nature of this government contract, U.S. Citizenship is required.


NEOSTEK is seeking a skilled SharePoint Online Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing SharePoint Online environments, strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation, and familiarity with Windows Server and Virtual Machine administration. Additional experience with Microsoft SQL, Power Platform, and Azure services is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and support SharePoint Online including site collections, lists, libraries, groups, and user security assignments.
• Manage and maintain Windows Server/Virtual Machine environments, including applying security patches and troubleshooting performance issues.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks (e.g., scheduling processes to extract user lists from Security Groups and saving data into SharePoint Online or Power Apps).
• Support Microsoft SQL Server by creating and managing objects (tables, views) and configuring users and permissions to enable data solutions.
• Deploy and manage solutions in the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), including configuring security and workflows.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to support migrations, upgrades, and integrations (including ShareGate migration tools).
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Document configurations, processes, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with SharePoint Online administration, including site collections, lists/libraries, and security management.
• Proficiency in managing Windows Server and Virtual Machine environments, including applying security patches and troubleshooting performance issues.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience working with Federal Government agencies preferred.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ShareGate migration and management tools.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (tables, views, object creation, permissions).
• Hands-on experience deploying and configuring solutions in the Power Platform.
• Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., Data Factory, Key Vault, Azure Functions, Active Directory).

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
