Recruiter - Hybrid in DC / VA

About the Company and Opportunity :

  • Our client is a non-profit in DC / VA who is one of the oldest non-profits in the area!
  • Due to a vacancy, the client is looking to bring on a Recruiter to work hybrid between the Alexandria and DC offices.
  • This role is hybrid (4 days in, 1 day remote)
  • Duration : 2-3 months
  • Pay : $28-$33 / hr
  • Schedule is Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

Overview of the Recruiter role :

  • Oversee all functions and operations of recruiting

    • Recruiting for direct service providers ie. CNAs

  • Post AD's to attract quality candidates for different level positions
  • Interview and screen all qualified candidates
  • Handle all aspects of onboarding and offboarding staff
  • Focus on retention by offering employee feedback and employee review processes

    • Preferred Qualifications for the Recruiter :

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience
  • Non-profit recruiting is a plus
  • Experience with Paycom is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Communications, or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
