At Professional Dental , we are dedicated to providing high-quality dental care and exceptional service to our patients. We are currently seeking a Patient Accounts Specialist with strong and proven experience in Medicaid (DENTAL) to oversee the aging and account follow-up for Medicaid patients .

This role is essential in ensuring accurate account management, timely claim resolution, and compliance with Medicaid requirements (DENTAL).

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and manage the Medicaid aging report for patient accounts.
  • Identify, research, and resolve outstanding Medicaid claims .
  • Process adjustments, corrections, and resubmissions of claims when necessary.
  • Work directly with Medicaid representatives to resolve denials, rejections, and delayed payments.
  • Accurately document all activities and maintain clear records in the patient management system.
  • Collaborate with the billing and administrative team to keep Medicaid accounts current.
  • Ensure full compliance with Medicaid regulations and policies .

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working specifically with Medicaid billing and aging (required).
  • Knowledge of Medicaid claim submission, denial management, and compliance rules.
  • Strong understanding of insurance aging, accounts receivable follow-up, and claim reconciliation.
  • Previous experience in dental billing.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • English required (Spanish is a plus).
