About The Position

Must-Have :

Candidates must have acute care experience.

Inpatient rehab experience is a plus.

Candidates must be available to work and rotate 2 weekend shifts per month.

Description :

This is a travel Occupational Therapist position.

Prior acute hospital experience is required.

Inpatient rehab experience is a valued asset.

Schedule consists of 5 days a week, with 2 weekend days in a 4-week period.

The unit consists of a collaborative team environment with various therapy professionals.

Patient ratios are estimated at 8-12 patients in acute care and 5-6 in inpatient rehab.

Typical procedures performed include functional mobilities and activities of daily living (ADLs).

Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and professionalism.

The unit is equipped with a variety of therapy equipment, including walking aids and exercise bikes.

This position offers an opportunity to work with experienced staff and utilize new technologies.
