CornerStone Staffing is hiring for a reputable community management organization in Irving, TX, seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to support daily and monthly financial operations. If you’re detail-oriented, organized, and have a strong accounting foundation, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Staff Accountant

Location : Irving, TX 75039 | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

  • $20–$24 / hour
  • Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

ROLE IMPACT

The Staff Accountant plays a vital role in maintaining the financial accuracy and integrity of the organization. Your work will support monthly closings, member billing, and reporting processes that directly contribute to transparent and reliable financial operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts monthly to ensure accuracy of balance sheet items
  • Post daily cash receipts from multiple payment platforms into the accounting system
  • Prepare and enter journal entries for recurring and ad hoc adjustments
  • Support the month-end close process and assist with account analysis and reporting
  • Handle member billing inquiries and provide courteous, timely responses to account questions
  • Perform administrative tasks including scanning, filing, and maintaining accounting documentation

    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience (accounts receivable, general ledger, or related functions required)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a structured environment

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
