Job Functions :

• Perform routine activities involved in the preparation of slides, for microscopic evaluation by a pathologist(s).
• Label tissue samples.
• Ensure tissue processing, embedding, and microtomy.
• Performs recuts requested by a Pathologist.
• Prepare solutions and reagents for stain procedures.
• Perform stains procedures.
• Well experienced in IHC instrumentation and stains.
• Adhere to quality control policies.
• Ensure compliance with all local, federal, NY State, CLIA, and CAP regulations.
• Responsible for training and cross-training other employees.
