Overview

Integrated Marketing & Communications Manager role at Albuquerque Public Schools. We are seeking a strategic and creative manager to lead multi-channel campaigns and ensure consistent, impactful messaging across all platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of multi-channel campaigns aligned with corporate goals, recruitment needs, and revenue objectives
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver cohesive, high-impact communications and campaigns
  • Track and evaluate campaign and communications performance against established KPIs, providing recommendations to adjust and optimize efforts
  • Contribute to building repeatable processes and workflows for integrated marketing campaigns that maximize efficiency and measurable results
  • Support employee recruitment, retention, and engagement communications
  • Ensure consistent internal storytelling, aligning company priorities, initiatives, and cultural values with employee communications
  • Lead external communications initiatives including public relations, media outreach, awards submissions, and thought leadership opportunities
  • Develop clear, polished presentations for internal audiences (employees, leadership meetings, company updates) and external stakeholders (clients, community partners, industry events)
  • Support the development and execution of a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand visibility and audience engagement
  • Monitor trends and platforms to ensure the companys presence remains relevant, engaging, and consistent across channels
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure communications and campaigns reflect company priorities
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing teamincluding content, design, and webto deliver integrated, aligned messaging
  • Help elevate executive visibility and thought leadership through integrated media opportunities and digital platforms
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing and communications, with proven success managing integrated campaigns, internal and external communications
  • Proficiency in integrated marketing across multiple channels (email, digital, social, PR, events, and presentations)
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to build and refine marketing processes
  • Data-driven mindset; comfortable defining KPIs, tracking performance, and optimizing based on results
  • Experience developing and editing presentations for internal meetings and client-facing opportunities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and consistency

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Work Environment

    This position is based on-site in a professional office setting and requires regular in-person collaboration with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external partners. The work environment is fast-paced and deadline-oriented, with frequent opportunities for strategic planning, creative development, and hands-on campaign execution. The role involves working both independently and as part of a team, with a strong emphasis on communication, organization, and attention to detail.

    Physical Demands

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a primarily office-based role that requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The position involves frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and operating office equipment, as well as occasional standing, walking, and movement within the office or at events. The employee may occasionally be required to lift or carry items up to 15 pounds, such as marketing materials or event supplies. Clear vision and verbal communication skills are essential for reading, creating content, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

    Position Type / Hours

    This is a full-time non-union position. The scheduled hours are 40 to 50 hours per week Monday through Friday but may be extended as required to execute the tasks assigned.

    Travel

    This position may require occasional travel.

    Required Education and Experience

    Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; and at least ten years of experience in marketing and communications, with proven success managing integrated campaigns, internal and external communications.

  • Must pass a pre-employment screen, including but not limited to a drug and alcohol screen, background check, motor vehicle records check, reference check and physical (if applicable).
  • Current and valid drivers license in the state of permanent residence (must be insurable by Jaynes automobile insurance carrier in order to drive a Jaynes vehicle).
  • Must be eligible per Fleet Safety Management policy to operate a company vehicle or a personal vehicle for company purposes.
