What You'll Do :
Lead aerodynamic design and analysis for advanced turbine components and flow paths.
Perform 1-D, 2-D, and 3-D aerodynamic modeling for blades, nozzles, and exhaust diffusers.
Develop and enhance predictive tools and simulation methods for improved aerodynamic performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Mechanical Design , Heat Transfer , and Performance to deliver world-class turbine solutions.
Analyze test results, develop performance predictions, and support product upgrades and field issues.
Integrate CFD-based insights (ANSYS CFX, STAR-CCM+) into design validation and optimization cycles.
Automate design processes using Python, C, or C++ to streamline development workflows.
What You Bring :
Bachelors or Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
710 years of experience in turbine or gas path aerodynamics design and simulation.
Proficiency in CFD tools (ANSYS CFX, STAR-CCM+) and geometry modeling software (e.g., Creo).
Experience with Python, C, or C++ for computational and data analysis.
Ability to manage complex technical challenges and collaborate across engineering disciplines.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for precision engineering.
Preferred Qualifications :
Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) with a focus on turbine aerodynamics.
Experience in aerothermal optimization or cooled turbine design .
Familiarity with automation tools for pre- and post-processing in CFD environments.
