About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for its Utility Transmission and Distribution (T&D) Inspection, Quality, and Testing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the division's operations, with a focus on driving performance, quality, and growth across inspection and QA / QC programs related to high-voltage transmission line construction, maintenance, and testing. This executive will oversee P&L performance, business development, and strategic planning, ensuring operational consistency and efficiency. Key responsibilities include leading a team of technical and inspection professionals, serving as the primary customer engagement executive, and partnering with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives. The role demands a seasoned industry professional with a deep understanding of utility-scale T&D operations, a proven track record in business development, and a strong background in P&L management.
Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in the utility industry, with a specific focus on transmission line construction, maintenance, and inspection. A background as a hands-on inspector, with a deep technical understanding of QA / QC, testing, and inspection services, is essential. The role requires a leader with a minimum of 5 years' of leadership experience, including demonstrated P&L ownership and business development responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, and experience with O&M and construction management in utility environments. Strong skills in developing and executing business growth strategies, as well as the ability to ensure full compliance with industry standards and regulations, are also necessary. The Vice President will be expected to represent the division with C-Suite executives and Boards, and to track and analyze performance metrics to drive operational and financial outcomes.
