Overview

SMTS / DMTS in Process Equipment Engineering (Evergreen). This job requisition seeks senior technical leaders in semiconductor process equipment engineering to join Micron Memory Taiwan, reporting to site senior management or the VP. As a Senior member of technical staff (SMTS) or Distinguished member of technical staff (DMTS), you will drive innovation, lead technical projects, define the critical equipment requirement roadmap, and mentor fellow engineers. You will develop equipment solutions to support high-volume manufacturing of cutting-edge DRAM products and contribute to the DRAM industry.

Responsibilities

  • Own critical taskforce, lead cross-functional technical teams for new equipment evaluation or adoption, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
  • Act as the technical authority for equipment-related issues, providing hands-on support or technical guidance as needed.
  • Guide and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and career development.
  • Cultivate an innovative culture, identify opportunities for equipment improvement that align with state-of-the-art DRAM product requirements while optimizing costs.
  • Develop a fundamental understanding of hardware and its role in supporting high-volume manufacturing requirements.
  • Provide engineering support to internal team members and senior leaders.

Qualifications

  • Technical expertise : Deep knowledge of semiconductor equipment related to lithography, dry etch, wet etch, CMP, thin film, diffusion, implantation, or metrology. At least 10 years of relevant experience in advanced node, with a strong understanding of related process engineering.
  • Project leadership : Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and drive cross-functional teams to timely, high-quality results.
  • Communication : Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with multi-functional, multi-cultural teams.
  • Innovation : Track record of providing innovative solutions.
  • Education : An advanced degree in Engineering or Science is preferred.
  • Eligibility : Although this position requires working in Taiwan, international candidates are welcome to apply.
