Position : Project Design Manager

Location : Milwaukee, WI

Duration : 12 months (contract-to-Hire position)

Interview : 1st round, MS Video and 2nd round onsite

(W2 Position)

Join a global leader in industrial automation and innovation! We’re looking for a skilled Project Design Manager to lead cross-functional teams in delivering new and existing products for our Sensing, Safety & Industrial Components (SIC) business.

What you’ll do :

Manage project planning, budgets , and schedules from initiation to delivery

Lead teams across engineering, manufacturing, and marketing

Ability to provide detailed updates to stakeholders which may require base understanding of software, firmware, mechanical, electrical and hardware engineering practices within projects .

Strong financial acumen and experience forecasting Operating and Capital expenses and monitoring performance to plan on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Communicate progress and risks to stakeholders

What we’re looking for :

BS in Engineering or equivalent experience

5+ years in engineering or new product development

Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects

Strong financial, risk management, and communication skills

Preferred : PMP or Agile certification, experience with Jira / JAMA, ERP systems, and stage-gate product development
