Pay Information

$125 to $145 per hour

About The Position

Cardiovascular Surgery Physician Assistant - Locums in Wisconsin, 1 Week per Month

CV Surgery assignment in Wisconsin; 1-2 weeks per month with flexible blocks and no long-term commitment.

Highlights :

  • Only 1-2 weeks / month, you pick your schedule
  • Ongoing coverage; no long contracts
  • Malpractice with tail included
  • Credentialing in ~30 days

Practice Setting :

  • Inpatient cardiovascular surgery service
  • Adult-only population
  • Work with a team of 1 RN, 1 APP, and office support staff
  • Epic EMR

    • Schedule :

  • Weekday shifts : 6a-3p
  • Includes 1 weekday call + 1 : 4 weekend call
  • Easy to schedule around other clinical work

    • Cases and Procedures :

  • First-assist in CV / CTS cases
  • Endoscopic vein harvesting required
  • Manageable caseload : 1-3 surgeries / day

    • Requirements :

  • Certified PA with Wisconsin license
  • Current ACLS and BLS

    • Travel Accommodations :

  • Airfare, hotel, rental car, and mileage covered
